Our mission is to use art and design as a common language- just one example of how similar we really are. We plan to illustrate keywords and concepts that have been recurrent in our casual conversations, class discussions and lectures, and minds individually. We will generate a work of art that disproves misconceptions and stereotypes not just about our cultures, but all different cultures on a global scale. This blog will not only document our progress but also our stories and thoughts daily.
We are a group of female art and design students from both MICA in Baltimore, Maryland, and Zayed University in Dubai. The MICA students are visiting Zayed for three weeks to participate in a cultural exchange/design program.
